A unique festival dedicated to women in Indian visual and performing arts, this day-long festival began with two immersive workshops in the traditional Madhubani and Thangka arts conducted by their respective exponents Pratima Bharti and Krishna Tashi Palmo, followed by live performances by acclaimed folk singer Maithili Thakur, a classical dance performance by the Manipuri Jagoi Marup troupe, and a finale presented by Hindustani vocalist Tejashree Amonkar. The festival was co-presented by the Consulate General of India in Hong Kong and Mrs. Purviz Shroff and the late Mr. Rusy Shroff, and was presided by the Hon’ble Consul General of India in Hong Kong, Ms. Priyanka Chauhan. It was co-sponsored by the Chellaram Foundation and the India Association Hong Kong.
