Raising the bar yet again, we blended traditional Chinese sounds with strings of the CityChamber Orchestra of Hong Kong and local jazz talents including (yet again!) the legendary Eugene Pao. Music Director Anthony Fernandes conducted 35 musicians and 6 singers as they regaled the audiences with melodies steeped in the ancient Raaga system and punctuated with lively rhythms played by five percussionists. The concert was presented by the Chellaram Foundation in aid of persons with special needs in the Hong Kong workplace and was presided by the Hon’ble Chief Secretary for Administration of the HKSAR, Mr.Matthew Cheung.
