This unique concert brought together local artists presenting traditional South Asian music and dance in conversation with traditional Chinese dance and jazz. Performances included a duet featuring Chinese dancer Zhang Yan with Kathak danseuse (and SAA Director) Neesha Jhaveri, a Hindustani vocal performance by debutant Freya Mignon accompanied by jazz pianist Jezrael Lucero, a percussion trio with Arup Guha (table), Aravindan Jegannathan (mridangam) and Anthony Fernandes (drums). The finale was a Carnatic vocal rendition by Roopa Sastry. Sabine Steffen designed the stage with a sunset scene from Mount Abu in the Indian state of Rajasthan, and added lustre through imaginative lighting. The concert was jointly presented by the Royal Commonwealth Society of Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Baptist University, and co-sponsored by Mrs. Purviz Shroff and the Late Mr. Rusy Shroff.
